> I visibly flinched at Quinns using a highlighter on his copy of Spire, so this will be an interesting experience for me.
Funny thing, after spending the past 35 years trying to keep every single RPG book I own as pristine as possible, it dawned on me that (a) well I will never get a chance to play 1/5th of them before I bite the dust and (b) who the hell am I, a museum curator? I want to feel that these books meant something to me, and had be *used* in one way or another. I have since lavishly started applying highlighter. I still flinch, but I it was the right decision for me.
I just can't do it. That said, a bunch of my books are in a shocking condition from being hauled about in bags etc, so I am not exactly keeping things pristine.
